What to say...well I am a 36yr old single mom to a wonderful and extremely active 7 yr old boy.If asked,the people who know me, would probably describe me as being very honest(sometimes too much so),dependable, trustworthy, acceptive, generous,friendly, giving personwho is a great listener, and an even better conversationalist. Who at times, is stubborn, opinionated(if I believe in it),a bit loud (can't help it it's the italian New Yorker in me), has a bit of a temper, when provoked.(Again the Italian thing), yet tries not to hold a grudge, does her best and gives her all in every thing she does!!! A go getter indeed. Looking For: Hi I am interested in finding somewhat of a "normal" man, if there any left out there. Someone who is honest and trustworthy, A man who knows the definition of gentleman and chooses to portray it. Is comfortable in all situations, be it black tie or beach bumming. I would like someone who appreciates my independant nature, but who can also take my hand and lead the way sometimes. Describe the perfect evening.
evening alone, no kids, bottle of wine,dinner we cook together, candles, on a blanket outdoors under a star filled sky. As for the weekend, can be a number of things...spent with the kids camping in Big Sur, or beachouse or alone time in Napa wine tasting or testing our luck in Vegas. Just having fun together, enjoying each others company.
How many kids would you like to have?
As many as the good Lord thinks I am capable of handling.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
Would like to be a size 16 again
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
I would make all people accepting of those around them. There will always be different classes of people, maybe if we all accepted each other,for who we are-one not better than the next, the world might be a more pleasant place to live.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
Being domesticated "super mom".....I volunteer for everthing from PTA, to Room Mom, to Tball Coach....You name it, I've done it or will be in the near future.
What gets on your nerves?
Liars and stupid people(meaning those who choose not to use any common sense)...and people who think they are better than others...you know the ones I'm talking about, the snooty snobs who look down on people like they are beneath them...I have no tolerance for them at all and have been known to issue a reality check now and again,
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Loyalty, honesty, communication, genuine ,respect,trust,equality, acceptance...
What turns you off?
liars, boasters,fighters/abusers, alcoholics,drug addicts,homophobic men-men who think they have to be a mans man, controlling jealous types, men who think woman should stand behind them and just look good. Any man who does not support his children. And I don't just mean financially, I mean emotionally. Being lazy!
What turns you on?
A man who smells good! Strong arms. Being able to show your emotions. Someone who stands up for the little guy. A man who can cook. A man who knows how to clean, and actually does it. A family man. Lastly, a man who can paint a woman's toenails, and is secure enough in himself and his sexuality, to do it.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
I try not to live in the past or the future.Rather, I try to live my life each day in the present, the here and now, not worrying about what has happened in the past, these things I can not change. And not worrying about what is to come in the future, that's in God's hands. I try (somedays harder than others) to just "BE", right here, right now, and enjoy what is in front of me.
