Dipping a toe in the water

I'm just a regular guy I suppose, working a Monday to Friday job. I'm the type who would often prefer to spend a Friday night curled up with a good book than going bar-hopping. And if I am going out then a quiet pub would be more to my liking than a crowded meat-market. I can be a bit shy at first, but after I get to know someone I tend to loosen up, and that's when the jokes can fly. Those who know me would say I have a good sense of humor, and can take being the target of a joke and dish it back just as much. I've graduated with a degree in a field completely unrelated to what I'm doing now, and plan to go back to school eventually to further my education. I've had enough school that it feels good to work for a few years first before hitting the books again. It's nice to be able to travel a bit. That being said, like a lot of guys I still love to watch sports - particularly hockey and European football (that'd be soccer). If I can manage to snag a ticket for an Oilers game I'll be the first one through the door that night. And I'm not adverse to having a beer out on the patio over a hot summer day. I have a pretty good variation of music I like, and can rarely wait to watch a new episode of House or The Office. I love going out to the movies, or renting a DVD and staying in.
